Making the right decision!
For about 18 months I have been thinking about buying an AK-47 type (straight pull) rifle. Should I buy one or not buy one? Searching
The Internet and reading all the reviews in the shooting magazines and guidebooks for all the information I could get. 18 months on, I was still no closer to making a decision. Then I decided to do something unusual in this day and age............I followed my heart and purchased a Saiga M3. Did I make the right decision ? YES, YES, YES. My first shoot was at Warcop in Cumbria. From pulling the trigger for the first shot, right up to the 100th shot, the smile never left my face. Accuracy !!! Hitting a orange at 200 metres using iron sights and standing up........................not bad from a 16 inch barrel and Russian ammunition. My Sako, Steyr, Mauser, Enfield and Remington have all been great rifles..................but my AK is my favourite.
